I have had the absolute privilege to work for an iconic and globally recognized brand like Fender Musical Instruments Corporation for three-and-a-half years. On Nov. 21, 2014, I am turning the page from that riveting chapter to move on to a new, exciting opportunity.
In 2011, I was a struggling college student juggling three jobs and teaching guitar to get by. Oftentimes I thought to myself, “Wow, I hope to have guitars as nice as my guitar students one day.”
Upon graduating from college, not only did I end up landing an internship (which eventually turned into a full-time position) in guitar mecca, I ended up having the distinct honor of promoting the world’s most famous electric guitars with an incredible team of people. Along the way I got to meet people like John Mayer, Deftones, and, um, Eddie Van Halen. Yeah. So blessed.
The amount of gratitude I have towards Fender is immeasurable. With me I’ll take beautiful memories and friendships, and a feeling of great satisfaction.
Thank you, Fender, for three very magical years of my life. On to make magic happen and sprinkle the love in new terrain 🙂 Can’t wait to tell you about the new, incredibly amazing people I’m going to get to work with!
