Hispanic Public Relations Association Scholarship

God is not good – He is great. Today I was notified that I was chosen as one of the 2010 Hispanic Public Relations Association scholarship recipients!

Here is the e-mail I got in my inbox this morning:

Dear Pauline:

It is with great excitement that we send you this email to inform you that you have been selected as a recipient of an HPRA 2010 Scholarship!   Congratulations and well done.  Your effort, accomplishments and overall success was apparent in your scholarship application and we commend you for that.  We know that you have a bright future ahead and we’re happy to help you continue down your chosen path at your respective college/university.

Our Scholarship Program Director, Anai Ibarra, will be contacting you soon to explain the next steps.  In preparation for the next steps, please know that we will need to get a photo and short bio from you to include in our website as well as in the program book for our PRemios Awards.   We are scheduled to host our 26th Annual PRemios and Scholarship Awards Gala at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown L.A. so please mark your calendars.

Felicidades again and look forward to speaking with you soon.

Delia Lopez on behalf of the HPRA Executive Board

This is a very important moment for me and my career, and I’d like to thank absolutely all the people who have made a difference in my life. I’m eager to give back to the Hispanic community, and to all people at large!

I love you all. Los quiero!
