Today, Aug. 10, would’ve been Leo Fender’s 104th birthday (he was born in 1909 in case you’re trying to do the math in your head ;)).
I want to thank Leo for his unyielding passion and curiosity, which led to the creation of the most beautiful and popular musical instruments known to man.
I want to thank him, too, for allowing me to live my dream by having a career in guitar & PR in the company bearing his name. I could not be more proud and grateful to evangelize the products you invented.
Thanks, Leo! And happy birthday.
