I‘ve been getting lots of email from my followers asking why I haven’t uploaded anything in, well, almost a month. My response to them is, please don’t feel neglected! I love you.
The truth is, there’s a massive amount of things going on behind the scenes. Here’s a quick news flash of what Ms. Guitar & PR is working on:
- Public Relations internship with the Mission Federal ArtWalk in Little Italy. In short, I get to work with amazing, world-famous artists such as Nelson De La Nuez and Manuel Avendano. Plus, I get the chance to tell the world and media how awesome they are!
- Graduation in May from San Diego State University. Yes, ladies and gents, after a seemingly eternal journey in college, I’m getting ready to graduate with a degree in Public Relations from SDSU. I should mention the PR program at my university is ranked #6 in the whole, entire country. What can I say? I’m a proud Aztec 😉
- Working hard on bringing you the best in music videos. Stay tuned for some videos of me playing Weezer, Led Zeppelin and System of a Down – yes! Totally different genre from what I’m used to playing. I say: change is good and making yourself more marketable is even better.
- Pro-bono guitar lessons. In an effort to give back to the community, I am donating 100 hours of my time to teaching low-income children how to play guitar completely free of cost. I’ve made it official, too! I pledged to NAMM. Music changes lives –> I play music –> I can help change lives. Contact me for details.
Also, I uploaded two new guitar videos to my video gallery: Over the Hills and Far Away by Led Zeppelin and Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Thanks for tuning in. Come back soon for more breaking guitar and pr news 😉
