Ahhh 🙂 It’s that time of the year. Every January for the past three years I’ve had the privilege of attending the National Association of Music Merchants trade show (NAMM), held in Anaheim, California’s convention center. This year will mark my fourth visit.
NAMM is arguably the music industry’s most important (and certainly the largest) trade show where instrument manufacturers worldwide embark on an exciting pilgrimage to showcase their latest products.
Naturally settings like these attract glamour, musical performances, artist signings and rock stars galore, so if you’re into that type of stuff it’s a lot of fun. The best part is not running into rock stars, though, it’s getting to see my music industry peers who gather with one same purpose: because we all love music.
Of course the biggest component of the show is getting to tell media and guests (media in my case) why our new products are so dang cool. Oh, and In case you’re wondering, the trade show is not open to the public. But don’t fret, you can live vicariously through me via my Twitter account.
If you’re at the NAMM show, see you there!
